Singer Barbara Paris’ third CD for her Perea label was her best thus far. The appealing vocalist swings her way through some offbeat material (“Accent on Youth,” “Copacabana,” and “No Voot No Boot”), her own “Paris Blues,” and a variety of straight-ahead standards with the assistance of pianist Llew Matthews, bassist John B. Williams, and drummer

The appealing vocalist swings her way through some offbeat material (“Accent on Youth,” “Copacabana,” and “No Voot No Boot”), her own “Paris Blues,” and a variety of straight-ahead standards with the assistance of pianist Llew Matthews, bassist John B.
